Profile

Mr.
Jim
Reynolds
Acton, Cambridge, Bedford, Concord, Newton, Sudbury, Weston, Winchester
Formed Caring Companion Home Care (www.CaringCompanion.Net) in June 2008. "Home care for the 21st Century" is both our tag line and our mission. Two distinguishing qualities allow us to achieve this: our proprietary cutting-edge technology that improves communications and reduces the cost of elder care, and our focus on wellness.

We are a leader in innovative use of mobile and web technologies, and have developed our proprietary system over the course of four years. We provide a private, secure, family portal to view daily caregiver reports and photos, and we offer remote monitoring technologies to help reduce the hours or required care.

We approach aging as a phase of life, but not as a disease. Like all phases of life, it brings joys and sorrows, challenges and accomplishments. We focus on wellness, and on helping the client remain independent to the extent possible; we never do for a client what a client would enjoy doing with some assistance. We focus on a client's capabilities rather than the client's limitations.

The management team includes my father Don Reynolds, who in 1992 started American Home Companions (www.ahccares.com) in his kitchen in Florida and became the largest private duty paraprofessional provider in the state. His 17 years of experience as a boot-strap entrepreneur in the elder services market provide a wealth of industry expertise.

Prior to this, my favorite role was National Practice Leader for Mobile and Wireless Services at a worldwide systems integrator. In that capacity, I led companies in many industries through the transition from paper-based to electronic business processes. This experience provided the foundation on which I have built the Caring Companion Home Care system.
