Call the Council on Aging office at least one business day ahead, no later than 11:30am to make a reservation. Lunch is a great time to socialize and meet new people. Suggested Voluntary Donation of $1.75 ($2.00 if you drink coffee or tea). Lunch servers are volunteers of the Council on Aging. |

Springwell is an Aging Services Access Point (ASAP) serving Wellesley, Massachusetts and surrounding communities. ASAPs operate under a state contract to coordinate and deliver a wide range of services to senior citizens in their regions. |

For seniors who live alone and cannot prepare food for themselves, Meals on Wheels can be a godsend. Friendly volunteers deliver meals and often can provide some social stimulation in an otherwise lonely day. Recipients must be at least 60 years old. Services can be for a short period, such as recovery from surgery, or for an indefinite period. Meals are federally subsidized under the Older Americans Act. Springwell's Meals on Wheels coverage area is Belmont, Brookline, Newton, Watertown, Wellesley, and Weston. |
