The Westford COA is dedicated to ensuring that seniors are able to access whatever services are needed. Our Outreach staff includes our Social Worker, Judith Ramirez who is available for consultation and to identify needs, and our Elder Outreach Coordinator, Annette Cerullo who provides follow up with home visits and also monitors our Friendly Visitor program. Home or office visits can be scheduled and our Social Worker is available for evening visits by appointment. |

The Council on Aging van is available for your use and can be reached by calling 978 399-2322 in advance. The COA van is happy to accommodate you and we appreciate as much notice as possible. We do have a chair lift for your needs. The fee is $3. for rides in Westford, $4 for surrounding towns, and $6 outside the area, round trip. Please be prepared one-half hour prior to pick up time to meet our schedule. |

For seniors who live alone and cannot prepare food for themselves, Meals on Wheels can be a godsend. Friendly volunteers deliver meals and often can provide some social stimulation in an otherwise lonely day. Recipients must be at least 60 years old. Services can be for a short period, such as recovery from surgery, or for an indefinite period. Meals are federally subsidized under the Older Americans Act. |
