Ride to End Alzheimer's - Saturday July 12 - Donate Today

Tomorrow I will ride in the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Association 100-mile Ride to End Alzheimer's for the fifth time. Weather forecast is blessedly moderate - we've ridden sometimes in the 90s. It's always fun (ok - the year I arrived at 5:30am and had to return to get my cycling shoes was less fun) and I enjoy the chance to swap stories with families, caregivers, and other professionals about their experineces with the disease. Many are touching and all are inspiring.
This is one way I try to give back to the community. One of the great adavantages of choosing home care as a profession is that you never wonder whether what you are doing makes a difference. If your family has been affected by Alzheimer's or a related dementia, please consider including this in your charitable contributions. We can make a difference and find a cure!
